A weekend hire at Euro Hire Drive runs from 2pm on Friday to 9.30am on Monday, which is the whole of Saturday and Sunday plus the Friday evening to load and the Monday morning to return. It is the hire most house moves use, and the one that fits a garden project, a big collection or a trip north around a working week. Collect from our depot at 5A Grange Road, Houstoun Industrial Estate, Livingston, or have the van delivered across West Lothian.
Every van on the fleet is available for the weekend, from a small van to a Luton with tail lift, and all of them drive on a standard car licence.

Booking a weekend van
The last weekend of the month and the first weekends of September are the busiest of the year, so book those a week or two ahead. Midweek and mid-month weekends can often be arranged at a few days’ notice. Bring your photocard licence (held for two years or more, drivers aged 23 to 70), a DVLA check code from the last 21 days, two proofs of address dated within the last three months, and a card in the driver’s name for the refundable deposit.
VAT, insurance for the named driver, mileage and UK breakdown cover are included; mileage is limited on one to three day hires, so tell us if the weekend involves a long drive and we will confirm the allowance.

Can I collect on Saturday morning instead?
Yes, as a daily hire. Call 01506 444455 to confirm collection and return times for the Saturday you need.
Can I return the van on Sunday evening?
Return times are during depot opening hours; tell us when you book and we will agree the time.
Is the weekend rate one price for the three days?
Weekend hire is quoted as a package when you enquire; we do not publish rates online.
Can two of us drive over the weekend?
Yes. Additional drivers are added at collection for a small charge, subject to the same age and licence checks.
Can you deliver on Friday afternoon?
Across West Lothian, usually yes; ask when you book.
