Euro Hire Drive hires Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger Wildtrak double cab pickups from our depot at 5A Grange Road, Houstoun Industrial Estate, Livingston: five seats, an open load bed that takes about a tonne, selectable four-wheel drive and a braked towing capacity of 3,500 kg. By the day, the week and the month, and on flexi, long term, subscription and contract hire for a season or a year.

Pickup hire for contractors, farms and estates
Groundworkers, utilities contractors, tree surgeons, fencing crews, farms and estates across the Lothians, Fife and Stirlingshire hire pickups from us for site access, towing plant trailers and carrying materials a van cannot. Business accounts are billed monthly, vehicles are delivered to site for longer hires, and a pickup can be swapped for a van mid-contract if the job changes.

Who hires pickups from us

Towing with a hired pickup
Since December 2021 a standard category B licence allows you to tow a trailer up to 3,500 kg with these vehicles, so no extra test is needed. Match the trailer to the vehicle’s plated limits, check the nose weight, and use a breakaway cable on braked trailers. We show you the towbar and the electrics at handover.
What you need to hire one
- A photocard driving licence held for at least five years; drivers aged 25 to 70.
- A DVLA licence check code from the last 21 days, or your National Insurance number.
- Two proofs of address dated within the last three months, one a bank or card statement.
- A card in the driver’s name for the refundable security deposit.
VAT, insurance for the named driver, mileage and UK breakdown cover are included; mileage may be limited on this group and on one to three day hires, and the excess can be reduced with a collision damage waiver.
Pickup hire questions
Can I take the pickup off road?
Check with us first. Estate tracks and farm access are usually fine when agreed in advance; the hire terms set out where you can drive.
Can I hire a pickup for a single day?
Yes. Daily and weekend hire are available; weekend hire runs from Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
Can you deliver to site?
Yes, across West Lothian for most hires and further afield for hires of a week or more.
Is a load cover or liner fitted?
Our pickups have bed liners; tell us if you need a cover or a canopy and we will confirm what is available for your dates.
Can a business hire one for a year?
Yes. See contract hire and long term hire, with monthly billing on a business account.
