Do I need a special licence to hire a van in Scotland?
No. A standard UK category B car licence covers every van we hire, because all of them are under 3.5 tonnes. Bring your photocard licence and a DVLA licence check code when you collect.
Is there a deposit?
Yes. A refundable security deposit is held on a card at collection and released after the van comes back. The amount depends on the vehicle, and we confirm it when you enquire.
Can you deliver the van to me in Scotland?
For hires of a week or more, yes: we deliver across the central belt and, by arrangement, further afield. For a single day, collection from Livingston is the practical option.
Can I hire a van for just one day?
Yes. Daily hire is our most common booking. If the job runs over, call us and we can usually extend the hire over the phone.
Do you do one-way hire to another part of Scotland?
