The reviews that are not five stars
Not every review is a good one, and we do not hide them. The critical reviews on Trustpilot are mostly about damage and mileage charges at the end of a hire, and about a booking made through a third-party site abroad that was not us. Both are worth a plain answer. On damage and mileage: the excess, the deposit and the mileage allowance are written on the agreement before you sign, and we walk round the vehicle with you at collection and at return so nothing is a surprise; our insurance and damage cover page explains how it works. On bookings abroad: Euro Hire Drive is one depot in Livingston, Scotland, and any “Euro Hire” booking made through a holiday company for another country is a different business.
