What fits in a small van
A washing machine or a fridge freezer, a double mattress folded, a flat-pack wardrobe in its boxes, ten to fifteen removal boxes, a bike with the wheel off, or a full set of trade tools with a step ladder. What you need to hire one
- A photocard driving licence held for at least two years; drivers aged 23 to 70.
- A DVLA licence check code from the last 21 days, or your National Insurance number.
- Two proofs of address dated within the last three months, one a bank or card statement.
- A card in the driver’s name for the refundable security deposit.

Is it cheaper to hire a small van than a car?
The small van and the small car groups sit at the entry point of the fleet; we quote when you enquire, and for anything with boxes in it the van is the better tool.
Can I hire for a few hours?
The minimum hire is 24 hours, which covers a morning collection and an afternoon return with time to spare.
Is mileage included?
Yes. Mileage is included, unlimited on most hires and limited on one to three day hires; VAT, insurance for the named driver and UK breakdown cover are included too.
Can you deliver a small van?
Yes, across West Lothian for most hires; ask when you enquire.
Can I hire one for a month?
Yes. Long term hire and flexi hire cover a month and beyond.
