Daily car hire from Livingston, West Lothian

Euro Hire Drive hires cars by the day, the weekend and the week from our depot at 5A Grange Road, Houstoun Industrial Estate, Livingston, fifteen minutes from Edinburgh Airport and next to junction 3 of the M8. The cars above are the groups we run, from a small Toyota Aygo to a BMW 7 Series, in manual and automatic. Short notice is welcome, and delivery across West Lothian can be arranged.

Which car do you need?

Models are typical for each group; the exact car is confirmed when you book. Automatic options are available in most groups.

How daily car hire works

1. Enquire with your dates and where you are going, by the form above or on 01506 444455. We confirm the group and availability, usually the same day.
2. Collect with your photocard licence, a DVLA check code from the last 21 days, two proofs of address dated within the last three months and a card for the refundable deposit. We check the car over together before you leave.
3. Drive, and call the depot if you need to extend.
4. Return at the agreed time and fuel level; we check the car with you and release the deposit.

Daily car hire questions

What is included in a daily car hire?

VAT, insurance for the named driver, mileage and UK breakdown cover are included. Mileage is unlimited on most hires but limited on one to three day hires and on prestige and SUV groups, and the insurance excess can be reduced with a collision damage waiver; we confirm both when you enquire.

What do I need to bring?

Your photocard driving licence, a DVLA licence check code generated within the last 21 days, proof of your address, and a card for the refundable security deposit.

Is there a minimum age?

Drivers must be 23 to 70 for cars and vans, and 25 and over for minibuses, people carriers, SUVs and 4x4s, with at least two years’ driving experience (five for SUVs, 4x4s and prestige cars). Some restrictions apply at 23 and 24; tell us the driver’s details when you enquire.

Can I add a second driver?

Usually yes. Give us the second driver’s details when you book so they can be added to the agreement at collection.

Can you deliver the car?

Yes, across West Lothian for most hires and further afield for longer hires; ask when you enquire.

Can I take the car into the Highlands or to England?

Yes, our cars can be driven anywhere on the UK mainland. Tell us your plans when you book so we can suggest the right group for the roads and the weather.
